This is a beautiful wooden sculpture made by Gallagher of a cigar store Indian. This pays tribute to Native Americans who sold cigars at North Carolina cigar shops in the past. This is made by Frank Gallagher who himself is a Mandan Indian. Perhaps you remember his art from the TV program, "Cheers". The sculpture measures 6 foot 1 inches tall. These are no longer made any taller than 5 feet. This one was also made to be slightly bigger diameter to present a bigger presentation. So this is truely a one time opportunity to own this in the bigger series. Please come see this rare artwork. We are located at 22 Ruxton Avenue in Manitou Springs.
