Check out the clean and simple mid century modern design lines on this beautiful buffet and hutch top from the widely popular Declaration series by Drexel. The buffet is stamped 1960 and the hutch 1959, which makes these early examples from the collection. This is a rare combo that does not come to market that often.
Designed by Kipp Stuart and Stuart McDougall, pieces from the timeless Declaration line were built sturdily by Drexel, using the finest selections of quarter sawn walnut lumber which lends them a rich and deeply figured finish which still glimmers to this day.
The buffet has plenty of out of sight storage with three drawers and an adjustable shelf behind the doors and the hutch features milk glass shelves.
The buffet piece would also make a great petite credenza or a nice place to store your vinyl records.
This original finish piece is in very good vintage condition and only shows minor wear in the finish here and there.
If you are interested in the pieces individually, the buffet would be $1,200 and the hutch would be $300
