Selling my trusted IKEA Poäng chair—aka the “lean back and reevaluate your life choices” throne.
This one lived under my covered patio, so the covered cushions have that slightly sun-drenched, “I’ve seen some things” aesthetic. Think of it like a tan line for furniture—adds character, tells a story.
Condition rundown:
• Cover just washed because I’m a responsible adult now.
• Small circular rip in the bottom right corner—almost definitely from one of my dumb friends trying to ninja-swipe away cigarette ash before I saw it. Fortunately, the foam survived like a champ.
• The cover is replaceable at IKEA in all sorts of colors, fabrics, and even leather if you’re feeling classy.
• Solid base with zero issues. Every tiny blemish has been hit with walnut touch-up paint like I’m detailing a Ferrari. I’ll even throw the touch-up paint in if your offer is reasonable.
Chair is sturdy, comfy, and perfect for reading, lounging, or contemplating why your friends can’t handle their ash.
Pick up in RiNo.
Lowballers beware—I’ve been known to raise the price out of spite.
