I’ve been using this recliner as my reading chair for years and it is still in excellent condition. There are no rips, stains or worn areas. It is very comfortable and very clean. The only thing to complain about is that the foot rest is a little difficult to stow. Pops right up when the lever is pulled, but takes a little muscle to close. I suspect a little oil is needed, but I’m not going to spray WD-40 in my office. For these reasons I’m only ask $45.
