Our family had this scooter since it was new. I've take care of it, but I can no longer keep up with necessary maintenance. She's currently a bit of a project piece. Due to it sitting over winters here in CO, I suspect the jets are clogged and the carburetor needs to be disassembled and cleaned.
The odometer never worked quite right even after getting it "fixed" in 2015 -- I suspect loose wiring, but never investigated, just went with the flow of traffic.
The fuel gauge suffers a similar issue. They could be related. I always just topped off once a week and never had any issues.
That being said, in the last year, I have installed a new headlight, new starter button and new back tire. Recent work included the exhaust being cleaned and new gasket installed. The seat fabric is in good condition. There is minor cosmetic damage on the back from my husband accidentally dumping it over when learning to ride.
Title is clean and never been in an accident.
Bottomline, ***You will need a trailer to haul her away to a mechanic or home, if you plan to do the work yourself.*** I have a folder with records from all maintenance fixes and yearly registration. I will throw in my helmet at no extra charge if you would like.
Otherwise, GREAT commuter scooter. I super enjoyed riding to work and running errands on it but she's ready for a new home.
