This is a 500 Candle Power (500CP or 400Watts) Lantern that provides both Heat and Light.
The Petromax 500 Rapid (HK500) uses about 1 quart (1 liter) of kerosene or paraffin oil for roughly 8 hours of burn time, offering impressive fuel efficiency for its powerful 400-watt output, making it a reliable, long-running pressure lantern for outdoor or emergency use. A single fill provides a full evening's worth of bright light, ideal for camping or power outages. If the flame is minimized, the "burn time" can be greatly extended.
They are a little dirty and have the Matte Finish as specified for the German/Swiss/Austrian/Czech Militaries.
