Doug's Diner Thornton is looking for an experienced dishwasher. Must be have open availability and open to work Friday and Saturday nights.
Washing Wares: Scrape, rinse, and load dishes into the industrial dishwasher or wash them by hand using proper sanitation procedures.
Stocking & Storing: Properly dry, stack, and store all flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and plates in designated areas so chefs and servers have steady.
Kitchen Sanitation: Sweep and mop the kitchen floors, sanitize food prep stations, and clean cooking equipment.
Waste Management: Empty and clean trash receptacles, break down cardboard boxes, and ensure waste is properly disposed of.
Equipment Maintenance: Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemical levels, ensuring they function properly and reporting issues.
Additional Duties: Assist kitchen staff with light food prep tasks (e.g., chopping vegetables) and help store daily food deliveries.
