Mangiare Italian Restaurant and The Galley Restaurant are hiring an experienced cook to join our kitchen team in Sitka for the 2026 season. Position:

Line Cook / Prep Cook
Minimum 2 years kitchen experience preferred Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant standards
• Assist with prep work, sauces, vegetables, proteins, and daily specials
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Support the kitchen team during busy service hours
• Help with kitchen closing and product labeling for next-day use
• Work closely with chefs and kitchen management to maintain consistency and quality

• Minimum 2 years experience in a restaurant kitchen
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during service
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Experience with Italian cuisine or seafood is a plus
