The Elbow Room, a family-owned restaurant located inside Holiday Lanes in Lakewood, Colorado, is seeking an experienced Bartender/Server to join our team.
Applicants must be strong servers who are comfortable working both behind the bar and on the floor. We are looking for someone dependable, positive and able to provide excellent service in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Include:
-Creating a friendly and welcoming environment for our guests
-Bartending, taking food and drink orders, serving tables and bussing as needed
-Preparing common cocktails accurately and consistently
-Using our POS system, Cake, to enter orders and process payments
-Communicating professionally with guests, kitchen staff and other team members
-Maintaining a clean, sanitized, stocked and organized bar and restaurant
-Completing all required opening, closing and side-work duties
-Following all established cash-handling, tab-tracking and alcohol-service procedures
Qualifications:
-Previous bartending and serving experience is required
-Experience in a full-service restaurant and bar
-Dependable, punctual and able to work well under pressure
-Strong communication and customer-service skills
-Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
-Flexible availability, including days, evenings and weekends
