4 week probationary period $16/hr then $18/hr 30-40 hours a week, Tuesday-Sunday
1 year commitment minimum.
This persons’ job is to execute all operations that happen at the Commissary Kitchen, to enable the Food Truck crew to spend their time out selling. This is a physical job, requiring hours clocked in 6 days a week.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Cleaning; Washing Dishes (handwashing with a 3 comp sink), cleaning the food truck after it gets back to the Commissary (7p-9:30p Wed-Sun), Cleaning/Maintaining Appliances (Ice Maker, Smoker, Deep Fryer, Flat top, Refrigeration) Cleaning Commissary Kitchen nightly (Tues-Sun)
Inventory Management; the flow of food (first in first out), receive weekly food orders, maintain organization in the commissary.
Generator oil changes monthly, propane tanks filled weekly, occasional will call order pickups, other maintenance tasks.
Skills We’re Looking for:
Confidence and ability to do oil changes on generators and motors.
Confidence and ability hauling large trailers and backing them uphill into a garage.
Confidence and ability to operate and maintain kitchen and mechanical equipment (vacuum sealer).
Willingness to help develop better-organized systems to operate within.
Confidence in preparing food, following instructions in a recipe. Willingness to prep food the way Chef wants.
Certifications and Prerequisites:
Taps Series Foodservice Food Safety Manager Certification Training (Restaurants) I will pay for this certification if you don’t have it.
Background check to get access to building keys.
