Love’s Oven LLC. Cannabis Edible Chef Job Description
Purpose: The purpose of this document is to define the responsibilities of the edible chef. This is not an exhaustive list but a general description of job duties and responsibilities. As with all roles in our organization job duties will evolve as the company grows and improves.

Edible Production: It is the responsibility of the edible chef to ensure that all assigned products are produced by the deadline given utilizing the appropriate ingredients, equipment and staff. This includes but is not limited to production of 15+ skus of baked goods, 13+ Skus of chocolates, 8+ skus of beverages. You will be expected to learn and utilize all commercial food manufacturing machinery safely and quickly. As well as monitor the use of said equipment while production assistants complete various assignments assigned by the edible chef. Continual use of mathematics is expected in all projects. It is expected that the production assistants assigned to your team are safely and quickly led through projects and complete them on time. It is the responsibility of the edible chef to ensure production assistants are working efficiently and effectively on all tasks towards the competition of set goals.
Cleaning and Sanitizing: It is the responsibility of the edible chef to ensure that all cGMP cleaning and sanitizing standards are met and exceeded at all times. When using a team of production assistants to complete a task it is the responsibility of the edible chef to ensure compliance from all production assistants and work with the production manager to create action plans and improvement plans when deviations occur. Proper logging and inspections are expected of edible chefs in all aspects of their projects. It is the expectation of the edible chef that company set cleaning standards are met at all times.
Project Management: Each day the edible chef will receive a series of projects that they are expected to complete following all safety, sanitation, and company standards. It is expected that the edible chef completes projects by the set deadline and if that is not possible works with the production manager to come up with an action plan. Projects may be chocolates, baked goods, beverages, cleaning, and organizing. Each project is guided by an SOP and a recipe, it is expected that the edible chef completes each project exactly how the SOP and recipe describe. It is the responsibility of the edible chef to complete assigned projects in a 40hr week and only use overtime when approved by operations manager and production manager.
Love’s Oven LLC. Company Code of Conduct: It is the responsibility of the edible chef to always comply with the company's strict code of conduct. All work must be completed in an ethical manner to further the environment of trust and growth. When an edible chef has a team of production assistants working on a project it is the chef's responsibility to ensure that the production assistants are completing tasks in an ethical manner and treating peers with respect. If a situation arises it is the edible chef's responsibility to bring the situation up to the production manager for further action. At all points it is expected that the edible chef leads by example and helps to create an environment of innovation, trust, and growth.
