The High Lonesome is seeking a professional and experienced Bar Manager to join our team. This is a working bartender management position. Shifts will include bartending shifts and administrative shifts. This position will be responsible for overseeing all bar operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of efficiency. We are an established neighborhood bar located in northwest Denver. The ideal candidates will be knowledgeable in whiskey, mezcal, tequila, craft beer, classic cocktails and craft cocktails.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily bar operations
- Maintain inventory and order inventory
- Perform liquor costing and budget management
- Cleanliness and organization
- Provide excellent customer service with an outgoing personality
- Utilize extensive knowledge of liquor and beer to enhance customer experience
Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience as a bar manager and high-volume bartender,
specifically working in a bar with normal bar hours (closing at 2am)
- Strong organizational and cleanliness skills
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Extensive knowledge of liquor (especially whiskey) and beer
- Ability to manage inventory and ordering processes
-Proficiency with POS systems and Excel
- Proficiency in liquor costing and budget management
- Outgoing and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
-Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
We are looking to hire within next couple weeks so our current manager can fully train new hire. This is an hourly paid position and annual wage depends on how many hours worked. This post states a salary range that is based on our last full-time (avg 34-38 hours per week) bar manager.
