The Adams County Fair is seeking several Temporary Fair Workers to, under the guidance of a supervisor, perform a limited range of labor tasks requiring light to medium physical effort, usually outdoors. The fair workers will clear trash and rubbish from roadways, sidewalks, and buildings; unload and move equipment, furniture, and supplies; fold and store tables after the show; sweep and clean buildings, ticket sellers and scanners, staff guest services booths, and any other duties assigned.
Adams County Fair will be held July 29-August 2, 2026. (Please note that guest services positions will not begin their first shift until the first day of the Fair.)
Guest service work schedules may vary, work schedules available for general maintenance positions:

Wednesday 7/29-Sunday 8/2, noon until the evening event.

Examples of Duties for Success:
Maintenance Duties:
- Event set-up and tear down.
- Cleans tables & chairs.
- Picks up litter and trash removal.
- Cleans restrooms (both men and women are needed to clean respective restrooms while they are occupied).
- Sweeps and mops floors.
- Beverage and ice delivery.
- Provide shuttle services for bus shuttle guests from the museum parking lot to passenger pick up and drop off location, safely and responsibly.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required.
Guest Service Duties:
- Scan tickets for the Grandstand events.
- Staff guest services booths to answer general Fair questions.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required.
- Hours will vary upon the opening and closing of the Fair.
Maintenance & Guest Service Fair Workers may be required to perform the duties and responsibilities of either role if the business need arises.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Qualifications for Success:
- Establishes, maintains, and fosters positive and harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
- Communicates clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Spanish speaking highly preferred and eligible for additional pay upon final testing.
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Must have the ability to work with other Fair employees and the public
- Spanish speaking abilities are highly preferred, and eligible candidates may receive additional pay upon confirmation of skills at time of interview.

Background Check: Must pass a criminal (CBI) background check.
License or Certificate: Possession of a valid Colorado driver's license.
