For the Love of Dog!!
Colorado Pet Pantry hosts the 2019 Bow Wow Film Festival – a dog-centric short film festival

Denver, CO: We are proud to announce our most exciting FUN-draising event of the year, the 4th annual Bow Wow Film Festival on May 3, 2019! This fun event celebrates our beloved canine companions! All proceeds benefit the important work of the Colorado Pet Pantry so we can expand our programs over the next year to help feed more hungry pets and keep them in their loving homes.

Highlights for this year's films; movies featuring working dogs, the return of the delightful Ask Frank and his advice column, and we go international with movies filmed abroad! Come laugh and cheer and maybe even tear up a bit as we marvel in all the ways these beloved furry creatures touch our lives!

The show will be held on Friday, May 3rd at the beautiful Highlands Church on 2644 W. 32nd Avenue in Denver. The cocktail reception & silent auction start at 5:30 pm and the film starts at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under and include 2 drinks and hors d'oeuvres. The reception will feature cocktails by Titos, beer by Zuni Street Brewing, and a mezcal tastings by Cuentacuentos. Event sponsors include Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Urban Vet, Boulder Area Realty, Colorado Expression Magazine, Colorado Citizens for Canine Welfare, Vet Center of Parker, and Indian Tree Animal Hospital.

About Colorado Pet Pantry: As we all can agree, our pets are integral members of our families. In times of financial distress, many families are faced with the heart-breaking decision to give up their pets because they can no longer afford the expenses. CPP was founded in 2013 to provide pet food for owners facing economic hardship, with the goal of keeping beloved pets out of shelters and with their families. In 2018, CPP distributed 2.3 million meals to hungry pets through our 25 monthly pet food bank locations and supported 85 individual animal rescue and nonprofit partners through our Animal Welfare Share Program.

About the Bow Wow Film Festival: Bow Wow is a traveling film festival that celebrates, educates and inspires all things doggie (with or without their human) through the art of short film. Bow Wow Film Fest features some of the year's' best pooch themed short films all wrapped up in one beautiful, fun-loving package!
