About the Job

• Perform physical examinion and establish medical history to determine donor suitability
• Build rapport with donors to ensure overall customer sisfaction
• Ensure donor and staff confidentiality
• Responsible for donor awareness to potential hazards
• Provide donor educion regarding general health and provide counseling regarding unacceptable test results
• Evalue & manage donor injuries and adverse events
• Perform evaluions of any history of illness or medicions to ensure continued donor suitability
• Assist in employee training
• Administer employee Hepitis Vaccine program

Job Requirements

• Educed and currently certified/licensed in the ste of employment and according to ste requirements as a Paramedic, EMT- Basic or EMT- Advanced, Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocion Nurse. 
• Current CPR certificion required.

Attributes:

-Work is performed both standing and sitting for up to 2 to 4 hours per day each.

-The position does require bending and twisting of neck up from 1 to 2 hours per day.

-Frequent hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.

-Ability to make precise coordined movements, of the fingers to grasp and manipule objects.

- Frequent foot movement; may squ, crouch or sit on one's heels on rare occasion. Occasionally walks, bends and twists waist.

-Light lifting of 15lbs. with a maximum lift of 50lbs. May reach below shoulder height. Hearing acuity essential.

-Color perception/discriminion, near vision and far vision correctable in one eye to 20/30 and to 20/100 in the other eye.

-Able to communice informion and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand informion and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

-Works independently and within guidance of oral or written instructions.

-Performs a wide range of tasks as dicted by variable demands and changing conditions.

-Reles sensitive informion to diverse groups. Work is performed in a plasma center.

-Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms.

-Exposure to electrical office and laborory equipment.

-Exposure to extreme cold below 32 degrees F while performing functions in plasma freezers. Personal protective equipment required such as protective eyewear, garments, gloves and cold-gear.

The estimed pay scale for Center Medical Spec $22.00 -$27.00 per hour for EMTB. Pay Scale of $24.00 -$28.00 per hour for AEMT. Pay Scale of $25.00 -$29.00 per hour for Paramedic. Pay scale of $30.00 - $35.85 per hour for LPN. Pay scale of $38.00 - $45.00 per hour for RN. Additionally, the position is eligible to participe in up to 4% of the company bonus pool.
