Description- Locion: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Outpt Pavilion, US:CO:Aurora
- Department: Hemology Clinic
- FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
- Shift: Days
- Pay: $40.86 - $63.33 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.
Summary:
Supervises daily staff activities for an assigned nursing area or function.
Responsibilities:
- Determines, coordines and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
- Provides direction, oriention, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with performance evaluions and disciplinary actions.
- Assesses quality of services delivered and facilites staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizional policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take approprie action.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Ste licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Chemotherapy Immunotherapy
- 3 years of nursing experience.
- BLS through the American Heart Associion or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start de. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
