For sale is (1) CyberPower 1500AVR uninterruptible power supply (UPS) in excellent condition. It has no batteries, but comes with all original accessories, documentation and packaging. The unit performed without issue for years as the UPS for my network gear and NAS. (I'm selling only because I wanted a unit that offered an ethernet interface for device monitoring rather than serial/USB.)

The unit provides (6) AC outlets with surge protection, battery backup, and automatic voltage regulation (AVR), as well as an input and output set of RJ11 jacks to protect a modem data connection. The AVR capability can boost or buck an off-nominal input voltage to 120VAC while providing a simulated sine wave for clean power. (This is the "line interactive" feature.) Each pair of outlets is protected by a separate circuit breaker. In total, the unit provides 1500VA (950W) of battery backup capacity. Even without the batteries, it's quite heavy, as it has a beefy linear power supply. Additionally, I damped the cover plate with Dynamat Extreme to avoid it ringing/vibrating. It has RS-232 serial ports and a serial-to-USB converter so that you can monitor the unit from a computer using the free CyberPower software. (I only ever looked at the front panel, so I can't comment on the quality of the software.)
Primary capabilities:
* Data Line Protection
* Surge Protection
* Line Interactive Topology
* Automatic Voltage Regulation
* Simulated Sine Wave Output
Accessories include:
* Stands
* Rack Mount Kit, including ears and rack-screws (never used)
* User Manual
* Serial Cable (never used)
* Serial-to-USB Adapter (opened, but never used)
Please note - I've included photos showing how the batteries are connected, but the batteries are NOT included.
The OEM sealed-lead-acid (SLA) batteries were model CSB (Hitachi) "GP 1272 F2" (which translates to "General Purpose" / 12V / 7.2Ah / F2 terminals, aka Faston-Tab 0.25" size), though you can certainly use other 12V SLA models. (I've used PowerSonic batteries in several applications, for example, and in that lineup you'd want PS-1270 F2, which I see on eBay as a 4-pack for $75. Just pay attention to the terminal type when selecting, as many vendors offer the same size/capacity model in both F1 and F2 tab variants.)
