The Play:5 (Gen 1) was the original Sonos flagship speaker, comparable to the current "Five" model. It still sounds just as great as ever, but it is ONLY compatible with the "S1 Controller" app -- this is not a problem if you plan to use this speaker by itself or with others that can run off the S1 Controller, it will NOT work with newer speakers in the line-up that only function on the regular controller. (If you have any questions/doubts about what this means, please do some research on the Sonos website.) The speaker can connect to WiFi, but originally it was designed to run off a proprietary mesh network. I still have the original box. Power cable and "aux in" cable are included.
