Assistant Project Manager (Lone Tree)
Leading National General Contractor specializing in Retail Construction seeks experienced Assistant Project Manager with strong commercial construction experience including hands-on abilities to handle the planning, coordination and control of a project from inception thru completion. Projects are fast pace and require immediate response to field personnel working overnight shifts.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project management team in:
Bidding and estimating multiple Retail TI projects throughout the US
Selecting, negotiating and coordinating work of subcontractors
Adhering to proper administration of construction contracts including AIA documents
Reporting to owners on progress of projects and required changes
Preparing transmittal's, submittals, contracts and daily logs
Preparing and processing change orders
Attending job-site walks, some travel is required
Assisting field staff
Preparing monthly invoicing for accounting department
Maintaining data and cost of projects
Four year college degree in construction, architecture or engineering; or 3-5 years verifiable related experience.
The successful candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills; advanced computer skills including MS Project, Work, Excel and Outlook; the willingness to work as a team member to insure the success of all projects; plan reading skills; and the ability to travel, when required.
