Creative Options Early Education Center is seeking a Family Development Coach (level 1, 2, or 3).

Responsible for daily center family engagement, attendance monitoring, maintaining enrollment, and promoting family/community interdependence through education, training, and referrals. Ability to provide intensive case management for higher risk families, while maintaining compliance with Head Start performance standards.

- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Human Services field or related
- 2 years experience in Human Services field
- Bilingual in English & Spanish is (preferred)

Level One: Foundations
1. Support Education Supervisors/ Enrollment Specialist with Classroom Placement
2. Data Entry/ management of phones -Front Desk-filing of Children's reports/Center Support
3. Classroom Support-bathroom & lunch breaks, dialogic reading activities when needed.
4. Promoting parent events/volunteering/ leadership opportunities for families
5. Attendance Monitoring/incident reporting re: late drop off & late pick ups/ability to write attendance contracts with families in order to maintain 85% on a monthly basis.
6. Opening or closing support of the center.
7. Review of Family Needs Assessment to develop appropriate Family Partnership Agreements.
8. Clear knowledge of Community Resources
9. Support with Classroom transitions, as well as, Kindergarten Readiness goals.
10. Ability to work with families of all ethnic, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds.
11. Ability to work one on one with a family to develop "soft skills" in the areas of budgeting, transportation, medical support, and home safety.
12. To support the family in development of schedules, routines, and transitions to enhance the child's ability to be successful in school.

Level Two: Targeted
1. Support Education Supervisors/ Enrollment Specialist with Classroom Placement
2. Data Entry/management & collaboration with Level one staff, as well as, supervisory staff to support daily operations of the center.
3. Classroom Support as needed.
4. Working with higher needs families re: support and daily case management activities. The delivery of this support must be fluid and flexible and done ion close collaboration with Educational/Developmental/ Mental Health/ Health staff.
5. Development of possible multiple Family Partnership plans to assist family with healthy interdependence with their community
6. Higher level knowledge of resources, as well as, IFSP/IEP process. Ability to support families with in the agency, as well as, with in the community.
7. Ability to recognize need for Mental Health referrals, Health referrals, and Child Protective Services Referrals.
8. Ability to work with families of all ethnic, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds.
9. Creativity regarding project development for families to participate in literacy activities, leadership roles, family event opportunities, as well as, math & science home activities.

Level Three: Intensive
1. Ability to provide intensive personal family coaching and intervention services.
2. To support the family's ability to interface with school, health, mental health, developmental support providers while appropriately advocating for their child/ family's needs.
3. To support families with strategies that relate to dual language development, literacy strategies
and the benefits of bilingualism/ bi-literacy.
4. To utilize problem solving strategies when families are out of compliance with attendance, drop off-pick up, or billing issues. As well as, when families behavior or noncompliance impacts the safety or well being of family members.
5. Ability to collaborate with all agency team levels of care to support the higher needs of intensive family systems.
6. Ability to evaluate and impact the family engagement outcomes to support children/families regarding school readiness and healthy interdependence.
7. To Impact family and program foundations so that family engagement outcomes are achieved.
8. Ability to work with families of all ethnic, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds.
9. Classroom support as needed.
10. Work with Family Coaching team regarding planning of events, support wit h family leadership development, as well as, daily office coverage.
