Description: This position is a full-time faculty teaching position at Wellspring Catholic Academy of St. Bernadette. This unique role is a 6th & 7th-grade combination, self-contained, middle-school classroom teaching position. The person in this role will be responsible for launching and building our middle school program – establishing strong and positive middle school culture, architecting systems and structures upon which the middle school can grow, and building a foundation of academic excellence – as the 2021-22 school year will be the first year we are expanding into middle school. Unlike many other middle school positions that are content-specific, this position is well-suited to an experienced generalist (perhaps a 5th-grade teacher looking to move into middle school), as this teacher is responsible for the primary classroom instruction of the core components of the appropriate Archdiocese of Denver 6th & 7th Grade Curricula for English Language Arts (ELA), Math, Science, Social Studies, and Theology. This teacher is also one of two Crew Leaders for this combined group of 6th & 7th graders. This teacher will be consistently collaborating with the other teachers throughout the school to ensure consistency of instructional practice and a thriving school environment.

Additional compensation ($1,000 - $5,000) available based on experience, bilingualism, and other skills. Paid every other week from End of August 2021 - Early August 2022.
