I have a home with 5 special needs young adults. They are all “high functioning” having graduated high school. They are all struggling to achieve independence.
I am looking to self-pay a social worker with special needs training to help:
-identify needs
-identify goals
-apply for benefits and services
-set up supports for greater independence
-kick them off in the right direction to achieve maximum potential
Ideally, after 3 months or so, they will each be connected with a social worker or mentor that is covered by their benefits to continue on
