1958 Ford Skyliner Retractable Project.
All original Denver car!
Desirable H-code 352 V-8 car (300 HP) FE engine (replaced with a 1960’s 352 or 390) with automatic transmission. Power steering, manual drum brakes.
Original black paint with red interior. No signs of any prior bodywork, bondo, etc. Just an honest original car. Does have rust in the tops of front fenders above headlights, in the rocker panels and in the lower rear quarter panels. The body is very straight, no big dents anywhere. May have some of the trim that is missing in photos.
The car ran 20+ years ago but then it went into long term storage. It was driven home when purchased in early 1980’s but the engine has not been started since about 2003 so to get it going again it will need fresh gas, a battery, fluids topped off, etc. It’s amazing how resilient these old cars are with a little TLC.
The retractable top also worked many years ago, but has not been operated recently. The interior is all there. Basically it’s a very complete and restorable car that will need to be gone through in all areas.
This retractable was gorgeous when new in its very desirable black/red color combination and needs someone to bring it back to its former glory! Clean title.
