1968 VW Transporter double cab, incredibly rare. This one was manufactured in Germany and delivered to Panama in 1968, it spent most of its life in Central America, mostly Costa Rica. It was driven up to the states and imported about 15 years ago. I have a clean Montana title for it. It is rusty. It has a 4 speed manual, and a fuel injected type 4 2.0L engine from a 1978 bus. It was my daily driver until cylinder number 3 lost most of its compression, it still runs strong and drives, but smokes excessively and will need to be repaired to be back on the road. The shift linkage is also sloppy, but I have the new bushings for it. I just installed brand new tires and valve stems. Has a new battery and lots of other new parts throughout. I have lost motivation for the project and would like to spend time working on something else. I’m located in Parker Colorado by Ponderosa High School.
