So as to not waste anyone's time I'm going to be as honest and upfront about this jeep as I can. This car was purchased brand new in 2000 by a family member and we inherited it in 2006 when it had approximately 90,000 miles. Car currently has 247354. Regular oil changes every 4000 miles. Always addressed any issues as soon as they came up. Never had to perform any major work just the usual. Car was my wife's daily driver. Non smoking, no pets vehicle. Drove up to the mountains occasionally but it's never been off-roading. Color is gold with beige interior.

Car would be great if your handy with a wrench. We were planning on keeping it (that's why it has new tires and fuel pump) but transmissions are beyond my abilities and figured we'd sell it while it was still drivable.

The Good:
V8 4.7L engine
Passed emissions test 5/24
New Cooper tires on 8/23
New fuel pump on 12/23
New brake pads on 2/23
New tie rods and ball joints 1/23
New rear struts and front shocks 1/23
New battery 4/24
Working sunroof
Power seats
Roof rack cross bars
Working AC (although not very cold, needs freon recharge. Super easy, I can show you)
Tow hitch
Full size spare (not the best condition but it will work)
Jack and tools
Newer stereo and speakers (although 1 speaker was slightly blown recently)
No major accidents
New alternator about 3 years ago
New radiator about 5 years ago
Belts changed out about 6 years ago

The Bad:
Transmission is starting to slip
Car has been stalling on occasion. Was diagnosed as low fuel pressure so we had a new fuel pump. It helped but didn't completely fix it.
Check engine light has been on for years but no codes ever come up.
Burns or leaks a little oil, have to top off every couple weeks.
Tail gate doesn't lock remotely, have to do manually.
Recently had trouble with the power door locks and power windows not responding. They rolled down but didn't roll back up. Appears to be a broken wire in the door jam because last time it happened, we wiggled the boot containing the wires and windows worked.
The passenger door lock motor does not work.
Occasionally the car won't turn over unless you put it in neutral. Seems to happen when parked on an incline.

The Ugly:
Front windshield has cracks
Has some rust on the exterior
Has some dents on the bumpers from backing into things
Leather is cracking, mostly in the drivers seat
I think the steering wheel was getting worn also that is why there is a cover on it.

Last month I drove it from Ft. Collins and in lower RPMs I felt the transmission slip twice. A little ways down the road, while turning into a parking lot the car stalled. I immediately put into park and started up and drove fine afterwards.
Once we got on the highway the car drove without any issue all the way back to Superior.

$1500 cash only OBO, no trades. If your interested please send a genuine response or I'll just ignore the email.
