2003 Blue Bird Bus Conversion (skoolie) for sale. The bus is equipped with the 8.3 Cummins (front engine) and 5 speed Allision MD3060 transmission. It was purchased through Eagle school district so it has the mountain upgrades of auto snow chains and 4 level KLAM electromagnetic brake retarder. It also has 4 under storage bays.

The bus has a professionally installed 18" roof raise and upgraded RV windows. The furring strips installed are doubled 3/4" Baltic birch plywood and a mixture of spray foam and insulation board is installed.

This is owned by my client who has since moved to PA this year and I am helping him sell it. This family has about $30,000 invested in the bus and there are many extra parts (water heater, wood burning stove, consumables) that come with the sale.

If you are serious about a bus conversion this is the unicorn bus with the engine/transmission/mountain combo. The only thing that would make the bus better is unlocking "6" gear on the MD3060. You're basically looking at a $9,000 bus and a $10,000 roof raise and as long as your blueprint is similar then you would be quite ahead on the windows, framing, and strapping. $19,000 OBO!
