I’m the third owner of this Chevelle and have done my best to preserve and enjoy its history. Originally purchased new in 1970 by a farmer’s wife in Greeley, Colorado, the car remained with her until 1999, when she sold it with 109,000 miles. During her ownership, it was repainted in its original factory color and the driver’s front fender was replaced.
From 1999 to 2022, the car was garage-kept and driven sparingly—only about 5,000 miles in that span. I purchased it with 114,000 miles and have continued to store it indoors, driving it another 5,000 miles. It runs and drives great—I wouldn’t hesitate to take it on a long trip.
