This car runs and drives as good as it looks. I drive it regularly to out of town car shows and it performs flawlessly.
The engine is the 324 ci Olds Rocket linked to a Hydramatic automatic transmission . It cruises nicely at 70-75 mph.
The interior is very nice with a beautiful dash, headliner, door panels, etc. The only negative to the interior is the seats are a little wrinkled. (I’m picky) It has the factory clock and radio. There is also an modern AM/FM/CD cleanly mounted in the glove box.
The body and paint is also in excellent condition. People love the colors especially when it is in the sun. Chrome and trim are also very nice.
I also have an OEM 1955 Oldsmobile salesman’s binder. It is the flip through kind that allows you to pick your options, colors, interior, etc. It is cool as most people have never seen one. They were for dealership use only. I also have a copy of the window sticker/bill of sale.
The underside of the car is clean (driver quality) . It appears that the floor pans are original and no rust or flaking. Very solid.
This car is fun to drive and gets lots of positive comments and thumbs up.
I am selling it to make room in my garage for my next project. I hate to say this but “I have too many cars”.
Asking $28,500 WILL CONSIDER REASONABLE OFFER.
NO TRADES unless it would be a nice SHORTBED Chevy, Dodge or Ford.
