Well maintained 1982 380SL. We are the second owners of this car since April 2022. This has been a great car to see the aspen trees turning, fun drives through town as well as a car show. The previous owner in Canyon City Colorado meticulously maintained this car at Colorado Springs Mercedes dealership. The records including Car Fax are available to review. Original tape cassette radio works, clock is always correct, and speed control operates, the heater maintains the set temperature. Tires were brand new in 2022 approximately 1500 miles ago. There are a few items that don’t work. AC does not operate and the oil gauge does not indicate pressure, Temp Fuel and Battery gauges operate correctly. Dealership note in 2020 found the gauge is defective, but was never replaced. Has a fast idle (1000 rpm) sometimes but not often. Lastly the washer fluid pump does not operate. We were told by the son of the original owner the car was painted, the upholstery was replaced and a new soft top was installed by his dad before our purchase. The driver’s door is showing paint peeling. The records for this work were not included with the other records. The hoist mechanism to lift the hard top as well as the original Mercedes hard top dolly is included with this car. I damaged the paint before the hoist, haven’t since.
