This 2012 Hyundai Sonata was originally a lease vehicle when I purchased it in 2017. I've owned and taken care of it since then.
In 2018, the engine failed due to a factory recall. It was replaced with a brand-new engine and starter by the dealership — not used or rebuilt. During the replacement, the fuel injectors were also rebuilt, ensuring better long-term performance and fuel efficiency. The new engine now has 78,100 miles, even though the odometer reads higher.
