2010 Subaru Outback, 153k miles, $3,500.
Clean, in fair to good condition. Averages about 23 to 24 MPG.
I have maintenance records from 2013 to 2025. A couple of safety recalls have been completed (air bags, etc). Timing belt changed at 107k. Tires are good. 2 FOB keys.
Dual Air Bags, 4-wheel ABS,A/C, Tilt & Telescoping Wheel, Roof Rack
Power Door Locks, Alarm, Heated Seats, Moon Roof,
Cruise Control, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Stability Control, Traction Control
AM/FM/CD Stereo with 6cd changer
Has a few issues, see below.
1- The moon roof track needs to be greased. Will correct asap. (cost: about $250)
2- The front passenger side window goes down only sometimes. Fuse or a faulty switch, needs replaced. Will correct asap.
3- There is a small hole in rear bumper - somehow there is a puncture hole in the rear plastic bumper, see photo. No damage to anything other than the bumper.
4- The front lower control arm needs to be replaced.
5- The car sometimes stalls when coming to a stop, due to a faulty torque converter. The recommendation was to rebuild the transmission. Or, the mechanic told me you can just pop the car in neutral whenever this happens and the problem is solved.
-A search of Craigslist show listings of similar year/similar mileage Subaru Outbacks for $3,500 to $10,000. This is a $7,000 car with about $2500-$3000 in needed repairs.
Kelly Blue Book value in fair condition (Fair: Requires some mechanical repairs) is $3,041 to $5,214
Asking $3,500 as is. $6,500 once repairs all made.
