This is a 1953 Buick Super 8 2dr Hardtop coupe. This was my father's since 1961. He purchased it used at the age of 18. It's been garaged since that year. These are becoming an increasingly rare find in this condition. It seems these days, the choices are ... paying through the nose for a cherried out restoration, or fixing up a rust bucket. The right buyer for this vehicle will be someone who is looking to restore & take advantage of the above average "original" condition as their starting point. It's original paint. So you can see what you're getting. It has the 322 ci nail head V8. The 1st year they introduced that engine for the Super 8. This vehicle has sat garaged for 35 + years. We woke it up slowly, and refreshed the oil, coolant, hoses, & had the original radiator rebuilt. We put it on a flatbed trailer, and transported it to my house in Thornton. I would highly suggest the same methods for the eventual buyer, as I would not trust the integrity of the tires at their age. For this reason, I am not allowing test drives. The car runs fine. We drove it to the car wash to get the dust off. No issues. Please feel free to give me a call if you have an interest in this sweet slice of Americana.
