Cute Beetle. Runs well. Over $2k in new parts and service this year. About 25-30 mpg. New sets of All Season and Winter tires ($1500 value). Not bad shape for a 24 year old starter car. Bought this car as a project for my daughter - to teach auto mechanics. We basically rebuilt it so I am selling at a substantial loss to clear driveway space at home. Sold as is.
New parts: radiator support, thermostat, coolant temperature sensor, engine fan relay, water distribution flange, water pump, fuel pump, fuel injector set, cylinder head rebuild and gaskets, timing belt, timing belt tensioner, mass air flow sensor, upstream O2 sensor, air filter, battery, ignition coil, spark plugs and wires, ECM reprogrammed, engine splash guards and shield, windshield wipers, trunk and hood struts, interior air filter, 2 wheel hubs, brake inspection, and right rear brake caliper.
