This role serves as a secondary contact for customers, field sales and distributor reps through order entry and email and provides customers with courteous customer service and support. The part time Customer Support Specialists will generally work 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Receive orders by App or e-mail. Process incoming orders for products within 4 hours.
Schedule loaners and coordinate surgery coverage, including field transfers and extension requests
Process implant and instrument replenishment orders.
Provide timely resolution of customer complaints, concerns, and inquiries.
Track shipped orders and resolve late shipments when requested.
Resolve issues with customers concerning order status and shipping problems.
Fulfill literature and other requests for information.
Perform duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with individuals internal and external to the organization. The employee frequently is required to move about the facility. The employee may be required to lift up-to 25 lbs. by themselves. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a part-time position; expected work hours will generally be 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
No overnight travel. Position may require local travel between two buildings less than 2 miles apart.
High school diploma or GED
1+ year(s) related sales support, customer service or customer facing experience and/or training preferred.
Aptitude for analyzing challenging situations and resolving problems.
Must have exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening skills, and be driven by an enthusiastic and time-sensitive customer service ethic.
Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence others, and good organizational skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to achieve desired results with minimal supervision.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
Proficient and accurate with Outlook, word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel).
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
