My dad found this in the superstition mountains of AZ before I was born in 86. My dad was a rock hound geologist and traveled to AZ quite frequently for work. I'm guessing he acquired it late 1970s. He always said it came out of a hole in a wall in a bat infested cave he found. My father has since passed and I really do not want this , it is of decent size and shows no major damage. My guess is it's a sort of trail mark or branding iron ?
I would be willing to barter , silver or ? Guy stuff ?
