It was used to go between Germany and the usa with tapes from my late dad and family as he was in the air force in Germany.
Put into storage in the late 1960’s and never used again.
The unit would need some serious reconditioning to work well again as the heads are in bad shape and not sure what inside could be good or bad.
Unit powers up, has static come out the speaker when the dirty volume knob is turned up and unit seems to spin the main motor up. As I have no tape in good enough condition to test the unit, I can say with the heads as dark as they are it may not work to well without a restoration.
Unit came with a plastic cover that was broken beyond repair along the way and lost sadly.
Unit has 120V A.C plug and a ¼ inch female jack on one side for headphones and a microphone on the other side.
