Own a rare piece of rock and arcade history with this original Guns N’ Roses pinball machine, manufactured by Data East in the mid-1990s. This collector’s item captures the energy and spirit of one of the most iconic rock bands of all time, featuring vibrant artwork, immersive sound, and dynamic gameplay. If you 'KNOW' and are familiar with this machine then you just 'KNOW' - little needs to be said.
Condition and Maintenance
• Privately owned and kept in a residential basement for over 20 years.
• Gently used, regularly cleaned, and professionally maintained.
• All game modes are fully functional.
• Includes a full set of replacement rubber bumpers (purchased within the last year).
• Will throw in any and all extra lights, spare parts, cleaning supplies etc.

• Comes with an original GNR topper—extremely rare and valued at $400+. Note: one small decorative element of topper is damaged/broken off due to ceiling clearance, and there is a minor crack.

Cultural Significance
Released during the band’s peak, this machine celebrates Guns N’ Roses’ explosive rise, their 2012 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction, and their legendary reunion tour featuring Slash, Duff, and Axl. The soundtrack includes hits like “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” offering a nostalgic experience for fans.
Development and Release
Slash, a noted pinball fan, was heavily involved in the game's design. He approached DataEast about developing a machine after being impressed with their Jurassic Park pinball machine. Slash stated in a 2020 interview, "I totally was going after my own idea and didn’t use any of those [other band themed] machines as inspiration." Other band members, including Duff McKagan recorded dedicated sound bites to accompany the gameplay. A run of 3,000 machines was produced.
This game is a wide-body pinball game with several unique twists. Among them, is an old fashioned revolver, which players use to start the game as opposed to the typical plunger. When a quarter is inserted, Welcome to the Jungle (recorded from a concert) plays. Also included on the soundtrack is the Use Your Illusion outtake "Ain't Going Down", which is the only official release of the song. The backdrop is illuminated with lights in the shape of the Guns N' Roses seal, and Axl Rose's tattoos, featured in the Appetite for Destruction album artwork.
Gameplay
The multi-ball can be activated when the yellow light is lit on the G ramp, this will open a trap door and send the ball into the snake pit (if the ball is shot up the ramp which is a hard shot), pulling the rose plunger (on left) will then activate the multi-ball. An "R" ramp is also featured completing the "GN'R" logo. The machine also uses magnets to fling balls around unpredictably, a feature that was used previously on The Addams Family, and a video mode for extra points.
Reception and Legacy
Each member of the band received a free pinball machine. Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke sued the band over the use of his likeness in the game, as he had been a member of the band when the machine was under production but was out by the time it was released. The machine has continued to be popular with Guns N' Roses fans, in part because it was one of the only releases of "Ain't Going Down." In 2020, Jersey Jack Pinball produced a new pinball machine: Guns N' Roses: Not in This Lifetime.

• Local Pickup Only – Located in Highlands Ranch, near Colorado Blvd. and C-470.
• Buyer must coordinate pickup after sale is finalized. There is home 'preparation' needed in order to remove it.
• Please bring sufficient manpower and a proper dolly for safe removal from the basement. Handrails and artwork will be removed in advance.

Reason for $elling - It's just time to downsize and let go of. Recent Family Estate $ale put our own world of 'STUFF' into perspective. We've had a couple awesome decades enjoying this and it's time to pass it along to another FAN. Planning on moving in 2028 so we are NOT in any big hurry. We will continue to enjoy it until then.

Maintain and take care of it, and as others 'FADE' and 'DIE OFF' out of existence, know yours will continue to grow in its' rarity over the years. Regardless, Money in the Bank or in your Basement / Game Room. You may even increase your investment as the years (or decades) pass. Many people are interested in the newer High Tech, High Maintenance Digital Display Monitor Type machines, Real 'Wizards' prefer the 'play' and 'sounds' of these more eclectic, vintage machines.
