This old matchbook, shows "Beautiful and prosperous Texas, oil wells, bluebonnets, and a pop-out joke about "when I was a one year old". Inside the cover are other famous sites in Texas.
The striker is worn and the matches are all gone. The matchbook is from the 1940's and 1950's and is still in tact and colorful! The matchbook (before alteration) was made by Universal Match Corporation of St. LOUIS, MO.
