This restaurant was located at 7095 E. Evans, in what they called the "Denver Territory". The "Most Extraordinary Menu" is in excellent condition and describes a shocking 41 pages of food offerings, with beautiful descriptions. I read that waiters and waitresses had to memorize the entire menu, never writing anything down.... It measures 5-1/2" x 8-1/2". The restaurant was in business from 1974-80's from what I understand, I don't know what happened to it.
Every other page has a proverb of some sort on it, for example: "A worldly loss often turns into a spiritual gain."
Here is a description of their House Specialty: "Smoked Alaskan King Salmon - an Ichabod exclusive - Topped with our special butter-lemon-wine-sauce, then slowly smoked over hickory wood. Served with the vegetable of the day, An old Ichabod favorite!"
