I am not affiliated with the Champions school but work in the industry: this school changes riders' lives. Some of the things we have learned from basic riding courses are BS, and these guys at Champ school will show you how bikes are designed to be ridden. I'm posting because this school's information will regrow our sport.
High Plains Raceway is about an hour east of Denver. It's a terrific and fun course. They might be going to Pueblo later this year.
From 8am to 4pm, Champ school is on the track...your bike, your track-suitable gear...that means full leathers or zip-together leathers, or a zip-together fabric suit with padding. Helmet, boots, gloves of course. I think it's $600.
From 5pm to dark is for street riders and it's awesome. You just need street gear, not leathers. No racers allowed, just street riders. Your bike, and there will be Harleys and adventure bikes and sport bikes there. You will learn so much...somewhere around $150 only!!
Get on the Champions Riding School website for signup information...you won't regret it...we must support this school because they are doing great things in the industry...hope you make it...
