My name is Blake Spurlock and I have been in the fitness industry for seven years. Recently I moved to the Denver area to pursue a career as an orthopedic physician and have decided to resume personal training. I am currently certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and have studied under some of the best trainers and physical therapists in California. I was also a team member of one of the most sought after gyms in northern California (www.fitnessrangers.net).
When it comes to training I focus on the technical aspects of how exercises are performed and design programs based on a client’s specific goals using gradual progression to ensure your body adjusts properly to the increasing intensity levels as the program advances. Whether your goal is to lose weight, build muscle or increase athleticism it can be achieved through safe and effective training administered through a calculated program.
In addition to traditional weight training and cardio I offer optional boxing instruction as a way to decrease the monotony of training and add something new to the program. I am available to travel to a location and also have a set location for training.
