These are very lightly worn--maybe 4 times and are in excellent condition.
These shoes feature a very stable, raised heel to maximize your positioning and power when lifting and insure proper form when engaging in squats or deads.
They also perform very well for metcon activities like box jumps, burpees, rowing, assault bike, wallballs and ball slams.
Oh and they have a rope climb wear guard which eases wear on the nylon uppers when climbing rope. Note: normally some of those rough climbing ropes can wear right through a nylon upper.
And there is a velcro lace cover so the laces can't untie or come loose.
Note: these Metcon 9's are not fantastic for running- you CAN run though the cushioning is very firm.
Performance-wise this is the ONLY drawback of these particular shoes.
As mentioned- the shoes are in really great shape.
Some VERY minor issues: the shoe lace tips wore off because I walked back and forth with them unlaced.
There is a tiny wear spot on the heel- don't know how that happened really. (visible in photos)
A very tiny piece of instep wear guard came unglued, (shown in photos)- you can either trim it or glue down- very easy.
These imperfections are not even close to a big deal, but we nevertheless lowered the asking price.
So, $40. At the Nike outlet store, they are $80 (checked 2/18/2026). Big savings $$$$ for you!
