Security Project Manager - Full Time

Wage: $60,000-$65,000/YR

Job Summary: 

Supports Branch Manager or Account Manager through project planning and coordinion to meet commitments on time and within resource limitions. As authorized, determines requirements, establishes priorities and monitors service delivery. 

Distinguishing Characteristics:

Performs a variety of management functions for assigned account or site(s); may be assigned a rank, as defined by client contract. Does not perform Security Officer duties except on a limited, relief or emergency basis.

Wh You Day May Look Like:

• Supports management through project planning and coordinion to meet commitments on time and within resource limitions; with client and management approval, determines requirements, establishes priorities and monitors progress. 
• Evalues project stus and resource utilizion; implements changes as needed; reviews stus reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. 
• Meets regularly with client representives for stus updes; addresses any actual or potential problems; assists in negotiion of client contracts; provides support during client service level changes; supports security planning, assessments and surveys; reviews and updes post orders. 
• Assists management in the recruitment, selection, oriention, training, development and retention of high caliber staff; acts to ensure th each staff member is treed with dignity and respect; plans, assigns, and directs project-reled work; coaches associes, and carries out disciplinary actions, as necessary; supports staff as approprie in carrying out their respective responsibilities. 
• Assists in development and administrion of budget in relion to assigned account or site(s). 
• Assists management in maintaining a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulions, policies and procedures; acts to ensure th staff members understand and comply with applicable laws, regulions, policies and procedures. 
• Within scope of client contract, project budget and assigned duties, authorizes approprie expenditures including equipment, supplies, and vehicles; acts to ensure th vehicles are properly maintained and administers driver training; acts to ensure th there is an adeque inventory of uniforms, radios, and other supplies and equipment; maintains and submits payroll records and other associe and business informion. 
• Assists management in preparing and coordining staffing schedules for account or site(s); acts to ensure th scheduling is handled effectively to meet client requirements while controlling labor costs; reviews Security Officer site reports to verify th post orders and client directions have been sisfactorily followed; personally inspects posts as part the evaluion of the security staff. 
• Provides input to company initiives; promptly assists in the resolution of legal, financial, human resources, and administrive issues. 
• Performs tasks and duties of a similar nure and scope as required for assigned account or site(s). 

 Educion/Experience:

Associe’s Degree and 1 year of responsible experience in the security industry and/or business management, or an equivalent combinion of educion and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Additional relevant experience can be substituted for the required educion on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of educion. 

Basic Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Above average computer / technology skills needed - Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

   

• Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills needed. 
• Must be able to remain calm and professional in stressful situions. 
• Must have gre tention to detail.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use approprie escalion.
• All candides must be willing to participe in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigion. 
• Experience with access control systems and CCTV systems preferred (Lenel and Milestone).
• Visitor management system experience.
• General locksmith + key core experience.
• Key management experience. 
• Budget experience (POs and invoice submittals).
• Taulia Experience preferred.
• GMO and GDP experience preferred.
• Must have a reliable means of communicion.
• Must have a reliable means of transportion.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United Stes. 
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English. 

Competencies (as demonstred through experience, training, and/or testing):

• If required for assigned account, must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable ste, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers. 
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet requirements for specific skills, certificions or authorizions specified for the assigned account. 
• Understanding of security operions. 
• Knowledge of business administrion and project management principles. 
• Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments. 
• Use of personal computer and spreadsheet software. 
• Ability to synthesize business/financial da and develop solutions.
