Remedy:
Freewheel with tried and true NORMAL step gearing for normal snappy shifting.
Shorten the chain by 1-3 links.
Chain Length:
With chain on the biggest gears the derailleur cage to be at 45 degrees Per Shimano.
Done plenty and it Always works So Much Better.
You will not miss the easy spin of the 34 as with a Teflon-Ceramic drive train cleaning the bike will pedal easy and Smooth through all of the gears.
