I bought this boat just before learning I needed surgery for Melanoma. I just recovered and now about to get a total knee replacement at the end of the month. In other words, zero sailing for me until next year. I’m the third owner, never sailed by me. I don’t want to pay storage for a year for a boat I may never sail. I paid 1,800, just spent 200 on a new trailer title so it has new plate and tags with current CPW boat registration good through 12/25.
The hall is solid with no soft spots. One set main and jib, good condition except two small patched holes in the bottom of the main. 2 booms, 2 trampolines, one vinyl installed, one mesh in good condition. 2 type 4 flotation cushions. Tailor is decent shape, roadworthy, could use a little TLC. The boat was looked at by someone who is a Hobie Cat 16 owner and he said it was a good boat for the price I paid.
