I have a number of new copies of Colorado Division of Wildlife's "Fishing Close to Home" booklet from 2008, the last year it was published. This once-popular, 65-page paperback describes nearly 200 ponds, lakes and reservoirs and nearly 50 creeks, streams and rivers -- all within a 100 mile drive of the Denver-Boulder metropolitan area (see picture #2). The guide is divided into three main sections: 'Urban Ponds and Lakes', 'Mountain Lakes' and 'Streams'. Every lake and stream is assigned a number that's referenced by an alphabetical index as well as a listing of what fish species inhabit that body of water (see pictures #3 & #4). Each lake is described in detail including, location, size, depth, fish species, controlling agency and more. There's also a large bonus section near the end of the guide that covers fishing basics (rigging, knots, hooks, bait, etc.), cleaning and cooking fish and a whole lot more.
Sure, regulations may have changed since 2008, but the lakes and streams are still there and this guide would be an excellent starting place for researching your next fishing adventure.
I will ship this guide anywhere in the US at my expense. I can save you a few dollars if you'd rather stop by and pick it up in person or if you order multiple copies.
I usually don't respond to lowballers -- I'm not being rude, just saving both of us some time.
My name is Roy and I'm located west of 80th & Wadsworth in Arvada.
I'm very good about removing my listing once an item has sold so, if you're reading this, chances are very good that this fishing guide is still available.
