This one is for the enthusiasts who want to own a piece of Denver history.
Before dockless e-bikes and scooters, Denver started a bicycle sharing program called B-Cycle in 2010, partnering with B-Cycle (the bike provider), who sourced bikes from Trek. The original order of bikes was flawed - the bikes were great but came in the wrong configuration so did not fit into the docks the city had ordered and installed throughout town, so the city sold those non-fitting bikes privately. This is one, and it's in amazing shape. The Denver Bike Sharing program ended in 2019. I paid $200 for this in 2011.
This 16.5" three-gear workhorse has a self-powered generator with lights, a built-in lock, a basket and other amazing features. Perfect for cruising around town, commuting or getting groceries and looking very Denver.
I can't vouch for the tubes - they are old and may have lost their integrity. You should plan to replace those. But the tires and wheels are in perfect condition.
