Hello! Up for sale is this 1978 Raleigh step thru bicycle - a classic upright cruiser great for cruising around town. Made in Nottingham England. Single speed with coaster brake - no fuss of gears, cables, or any clutter. A super simple machine from a bygone era – easy to maintain and use. A well used and loved bike, but in good working condition considering it is twice as old as me. Good medium frame that will fit almost any rider unless you're very tall or very short. Measures 19.75in (50cm) from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the seattube. Classic English/Dutch style bike with chainguard so your pants don't get dirty or caught in the chain, and has kickstand too. All original besides saddle and grips. Tires hold air surprisingly well for weeks at a time before losing pressure. If you're gonna be riding in traffic or doing any more intense riding I'd add a hand brake (I've got a spare one I could give you that will probably work) but the coaster brake (where you pedal backwards to brake) works fine for light general riding at a moderate pace. Just don't be screaming down any hills. Get out and pedal around this spring and summer on this super classy english ride. Let me know if interested, thanks!
