The battery alone was $700 -- it's handmade by Luna Cycles in southern California and fully potted (each lithium cell fully encased) for safety against impacts. High quality, selectable Luna charger included. You can choose amount of charge and charging speed.
Steel front fork installed by Standard Bike Repair in Boulder with a torque arm to safely withstand the power of the motor. I put a Tannus solid tire on the rear so I never have to deal with flat tires/punctures, but I'll include a Kenda Komfort tire to match the front if you want to switch back.
Comes with lots of spare parts and for another $50 I'll include a 1500-watt rear hub motor for going dual-wheel drive in the snow.
If you have a very long commute, I can include a second Luna Wolf battery for an additional $350. Everything is negotiable -- I want it all to get used by someone.
