Bike has been transformed into a single front ring with mountain bike gears - sram x7 9 speed with a higher end lightweight sram cassette. Has riser bar and stem to put you up a bit higher. Probably closest to a hybrid bike, but still rides fast and handles quick like a top end road bike of it’s day.
This bike has taken me downtown, to work, up vail pass, up lookout, hauled kids around in the trailer. Around our open space gravel trails. Does it all well. Fits me well at 6’ and probably can go plus minus 2” height.
